noun: a term used to describe when an NPR listener arrives to their destination in a vehicle and turns off the engine and puts their hand on the radio but doesn't turn it off or get out of the car because they want to listen to the end of what is currently playing on their NPR station.

Driveway moments. You arrive home and you turn off the car but you want to listen to Carl Kassel announce who the winners were on Wait Wait Don't Tell Me.
