The practice of deception, bolstering, exaggerating, bait and switching, etc., using modern technology, all done to sell a product is know as deepmarketing. Promoting a scam; fake products or pricing. Also, deepmarket, deepmarketed, etc.
I was looking for a new amp for my guitar, when I came across a website that had just what I was looking for, at a price that was WAY lower than I had ever seen. It showed photos from the manufacturer and everything. I am sure it was just deepmarketing, total scam.
