A large 1970s trijet made by McDonnell-Douglas/Boeing. Hugely hated because its favorite hobby was crashing, catching on fire, or priding itself on being hilariously inefficient. It sounds good and looks cool but it crashes more than it flies.
"OMG wanna come to Hawaii with us?"
"Sure! What airline we takin'?"
"American Airlines, we'll be in one of those fancy DC-10s!"
