A member of the Dhulbahante clan. Thats because the Sayyid, in a letter to the colonialists in 3rd of May, 1899, suggested that the Dhulbahante is the only clan he represents in the following quote:

"This letter is sent by
all the Dervishes, the Amir,
and all the Dolbahanta to the
Ruler of Berbera."
