A flat metal disk with sharp edges used as a weapon, designed for throwing. It originated in India. The correct plural is chakrani, but in english the plural 'chakrams' is acceptable.
I would like to pop a cap in your ass, but I don't have a gun because we live in 1850's India. So I am going to throw a chakram at you.
