A economic system which is usually short lived before becoming corporatism. In this system, everyone is said to have an equal chance to become rich, depending on how hard they work. While this is true of capitalism, usually by the time a capitalists become rich, corporatism is born. A system where the rich get richer and the poor get poorer. While Capitalism is a good idea, in theory, it is not in practice. Just like communism. Neither work. Usually, the only way for a semi-capitlist state to exist for any length of time is through democratic socialism.
Capitalism kicks ass! Now that I'm rich, I don't have to work, and since there are no taxes on the rich, I can just keep making more and more money without any idea of what to do with it! Nevermind the fact that other people need this money more then I do, it's mine, and I deserve to keep it, even though I'll just use it to buy things which I don't need, then keep the rest for my son to inherit, so he doesn't have to do any work either! Isn't "capitalism" fun?

Capitalism is a social system based on the recognition of individual rights, including property rights, in which all property is privately owned. Under capitalism the state is separated from economics (production and trade), just like the state is separated from religion. Capitalism is the system of of laissez faire. It is the system of political freedom.

Legalized Stealing.
Capitalism: in 1955, administration made 30 times as much as basic employees. Now, administration makes 300 times as much as employees.

The biggest lie of all time. Only an enlightened few can see it. It is the cause of 90% of the worlds current problems such as global warming, Imperialist wars, racism, homophobia, weak healthcare systems, unemployment, poverty, etc. Turns otherwise intelligent people into raving, brainwashed idiots that relly think they're free in America.

An often maligned system that was endorsed by Philosophes of the Enlightenment and again by the Social Gospel of the Industrialist Period during the late 19th century. A system that rewards those who work hard and use their talents to the fullest extent, now has been confused and distorted into a systematic operation of oppression and greed, called "corporatism". Can actually be mixed with socialism to create a utopian society if managed properly, a system we almost achieved under Clinton but was trashed by Dubya.
Capitalism is actually a system built for a democratic society by the definition of Enlightened Philosophers, but Corporatism has distorted the meaning of capitalism horribly.
