When your brain over thinks about the opposite sex that you are attracted to and can never be with. They sometimes call you "friend" and "sister/brother". Knowing you will never have them, you continue to talk to them, making yourself feel better for that short time. After that moment has passed you, you cant get them out of your head, think of fairytales and you begin to question "why why why".

This can be associated to crushes.

A person who doesn't realize they are transgender yet, or is in denial; an undeveloped transgender person. When they realize, it's referred to as the "egg cracking."
