Term used to describe someone of lower class origins who shuns his/her background as they ascend the class structure. The term originates from the Marxist word “Bourgeoisie”, which was a term used to define the minority upper-class that controlled pre-Soviet Russia.

Often used by black folks to belittle or hate on other black folks that attempt to better their lives.

Also used to describe a person who tries to be upper class despite a lack of monetary resources and social connections.

It’s an acronym standing for Can’t Remember A Fucking Thing. It’s usually used to describe embarrassment at being unable to remember someone (CRAFT moment); going onstage as the lead in the latest theatrical performance and your mind goes completely blank (CRAFT situation); the next morning after a night when you got pissed as a fart and woke up in bed cuddling a traffic cone and a string of fairy lights wound round your prick.

(adj.)Derogatory slang term. Unnecessarily or exaggeratedly picky, generally as a result of gentrified upbringing. Characterized by contempt and disdain for all things "below" oneself- clothing, cars, food, etc.

Middle class. The middle by definition is mediocre, homogeneous, and dull. Lukewarm and spit out by higher powers. Of the three classes - Aristocratic, Bourgeoisie, and the Poor - the "bourgy" are the worst as they strive for mediocrity.
