Boiola started as a brazilian slang for gay male, but can be used to describe someone who's being sentimental over something. Very commonly used by people after seeing something overly cute in a romance and etc.

It used to be an offensive term to refers to male gay people but now the LGBT community has given a new means to it. So if you're boiola you've consumed some gay content and now you're in love with it
e.g. I've just watched The Untamed(a BL Chinese drama) series and now I'm so boila
