Aug 11 Word of the Day
A phrase to describe someone who is cognitively degenerating. Synonym of "going off the deep end". Can have varying degrees of severity.
Reference to the song "Hey You" by Pink Floyd. The line "and the worms ate into his brain" makes no sense in an otherwise linear and literal narration throughout the lyrics.

"My boyfriend has a total case of brain worms. He told me the cat was bugged so the Feds could listen in on us having sex..."
or
"You totally stumbled over that entire sentence. Can't speak English all of a sudden? What, do you have brain worms?"

A really cool group of people that are also known as African-Americans. This is a race that has produced great music, awesome athletes, numerous intellectuals and scholars, hilarious comedy, excellent soldiers, and so much more. Most of them are fun to be around, likeable, and funny. The ones in the music business are talented with all kinds of instruments and they really can sing.

There are so many racist definitions of this it’s ridiculous. Black people are people with dark pigment and therefore dark skin. That’s it.
Black people CAN be anything. They are not defined by the color of their skin, and race is a concept constructed by society, and quite frankly I am offended by the other definitions. I may be white, I may be black, why does that matter to you?

... actually, I've never seen black people. I've never seen a person who was entirely pitch black. I've a frostbitten toe that black - due to the frostbite, but never an all-black person. It's probably time that we rethink some things, huh?

The term black people usually refers to a racial group of humans with skin colors that range from light brown to nearly black. According to a recent scientific study, human skin color diversity is highest in sub-Saharan African populations.1 It is also used to categorize a number of diverse populations together based on historical and prehistorical ancestral relationships. Some definitions of the term include only people of relatively recent Sub Saharan African descent (see African diaspora). Among the members of this group, brown skin is most often accompanied by the expression of natural afro-hair texture. Other definitions of the term "black people" extend to other populations characterized by dark skin, including some indigenous to Oceania and Southeast Asia
White people who make racist post on here make it embarrassing to be white sometimes. There are good black people out here!

as a black male reading some of the definitions about blacks on this site was very disturbing and highly offensive. I'm sure most of the people who wrote these definitions have gone solely on racial stereotypes and have not even been wronged by a black male or female. There are good and bad people of every race not just black people. education is not based on the color of your skin rather what you do with that knowledge. I'm sure if i went to any part of the world I would find an uneducated or person that eats fried chicken. I really hope one day people will change the way they look at black people. I really do.
other race: tch I bet all black people are sure to grow up and go to jail because they are all uneducated and commit crimes
black person: do you even know any black people?
other race: well...no but i hear from other people about them
black person: so what your saying is even though you have never met one, you have formed a stereotypical opinion about them
other race: yep because I'm ignorant and ready to put down an entire race of people because of what some guy told me
black person: well what if you were black and i was (other race) would you like it if I did that?
other race: hmm never thought of it that way
