A software application or service (usually for consumers) designed with the goal of promoting itself and making money over providing the functionality a user would want it for.

Usage is similar in effect to “vaporware” in that isn't technical classification (like hardware or software), but a perceived one.

Also occasionally referred to as “douchebagware” or “1%ware”.
The new Facebook is total bizware. I'm done with this shit.

I tried out this new site that said it would give me more Twitter followers, but it turned out to just be bizware.
