A popular town in the Pacific Northwest and now dependency of the 'The Bay Area'. Bend was invaded in 1992 by an advancing army from 'The Bay Area' of California. Bend was quicky conquered with little resistance. In modern times most Bend inhabitants will tell you they are from the 'The Bay Area' and how much they love Bend and wouldn't want to be anywhere else before telling you that the restaurants or shopping and pretty much everything else isn't as good as in the 'The Bay Area'. Most former residents of 'The Bay Area' would earn much more money there if they went back but have chosen not to, instead preferring to stay in Bend and tell everyone they meet that they are from 'The Bay Area' and how they would earn much more money if they ever did go back.
