An underground hiphoop fan that believes in 'Real Hiphop' when in reality there is no such thing as that. They are hiphop elitists that think anything that sounds gangsta, sounds demeaning to women is NOT hiphop. They are ppl that will believe that everything in undeground hiphop is 'real music' when the fact is, most of it is the SAME shit, just like mainstream, they refuse to accept that hiphop is NOT segregated by underground and Mainstream, the truth is an artist is either GOOD or WACK no matter if he's major or indy...another thing thats annoying is that they do not realise, ppl can listen to wtf they want, Just because someone doesnt like the underground of music, doesnt make them a idoit that knows nothing about hiphop.....Its funny how someone can tell me im wack, cuz I listen to Three 6 Mafia, and that I dont listen to REAL music (and I listen to ALL hiphop, underground and Mainstream) when the truth is, these fucks JUST got into hiphop, and they think they are the shit because they listen to an artist thats only sold a 1000 albums, so what the fuck are they saying?

Commonly used as an insult against white middle class kids who listen to underground alternative hip hop, who like hip hop yet are secretly scared of all the violence and other things they don't understand so change the genre around to suit them. The weird thing about the insult is who really uses it? A black rapper living in the projects woudlnt use it or even care (its not his audience), so ive come to the conclusion its used only by white kids who dont want to be placed in the backpacker group, so group everyone else into it, ironically grouping themselves in too.

I feel the insult has now been stretched to the point that any white person listening to Hip Hop is called a backpacker unless they grew up in the projects and carry a magnum next to their dick, which is why ive grown to hate the term, as if i lived in an area where people used the term i would probably be branded it at some point, when i listen to music thats so violent the average black guy i play it doesnt even wanna hear it.

An irresponsible and careless person or persons who cannot look after themselves properly so travel with a "backpack" (typically a rucksack) to avoid coming to terms with their flawed lives. They use travelling as an excuse to not take responsibility for their actions and wrong doings, from interpersonal relationships, to the general mess and untidiness they leave behind them in their wake when travelling from town to town. The typical backpacker has a hard time surviving in the real world because they are too busy thinking about themselves to really do anything. They boost their egos by posing for photos and videos to make false realities on social media because they feel like the whole world is watching them. They are incapable of washing their own dishes.
