A type of whore which consistently participates in questionable activities in order to receive even the most negligible amounts of attention, often willing to pay cash money to receive little or no attention.

Someone who screams attention through many discrete means at the expense of others.

1)Text Message - The attention whore message is delivered to someone that is currently dating or was dating. Alternatively, they are half assed friendships that they can’t seem to shelve because they are attention whores.
Their text would be a message of curiosity commonly inquiring what you are doing but ultimately is a sad form of attention to see how much interest is still there. The clear distinction between honest inquiries is follow through. “Let’s meet up some time” OK!. Also, the text has a tendency to end abruptly because you have already satisfied their needs of whoredom. This can be devastating to some or a bit of an annoyance to others depending on how much you give a shit.
*WARNING: Apathy breeds more texts. Attention whores sense they are losing you and will continue to text until you back in the vicious cycle of random texts or you drop them completely.

Person who feels the need to have all eyes on them, via online message boards. An Attention Whore will write things about how thier health or families health in an attempt for sympathy. They will also do go to extremes as promoting themselves via threads on message boards to get people to choose sides over another person.

One who will go to extremes for attention, or one who seeks attention a lot.

The biggest attention-whore would probably be a girl named Désiré or Jessica.

a girl on the internet who will do anything for attention.. often she will claim to have been raped, complain thats she's fat or no one likes her (fishing for compliments), post pictures of herself nude or semi-nude, or just type provocative messages to members of the opposite sex in the hopes that one might not realize that she is just a fat attention whore. another common trick of the attention whore is to claim that she is bisexual or a lesbian.

2. Paris Hilton; "celebrity" known principally for who she is and for outlandish personal behavior, not for her work. All too willing to parade one's personal failings in public for additional attention, for no other productive end; see also, Anna Nicole Smith.

One who desires attention at the most reprehensible, improper, gauche moments. He/she may wear clothing to appear as though he/she is different from the rest, (could be) spending money loosely, as their pockets permit. This individual may also publicly proclaim their emotions through verbal outbursts, timebomb characteristics, physical rage (i.e. striking any physical object nearby), or weeping in embarassment. These "striking" individuals love flirtation, physical stunts, maybe dancing, piercings, tight clothing (for females), big bling (for men), loud cars, Nike Dunks, the "underground" scene" and more.

Attention whores are not that bad, they may even give reparations to others but somehow will lead them to talking about themselves through indirect compliments in comparison to others.

Perhaps attention whores just need a little love that they have lacked to receive from their childhood. Psychologically, attention is needed, but exhausting it is simply pathetic and clearly a damn shame.

Now, please be aware that attention whores are underground too. They might just be the person next to you.
