Aesthetic is a word typically used to describe something aesthetically pleasing or that fits you as a person. However, growing through the use of tumblr and Instagram, it has soon become slang. (I.E. “that’s so aesthetic”

a word invented by edgy 13 year olds who cant use vocabulary, and try to look cool

Something that tumblr weirdo's say way too often and use it for every damn thing under the sun. A generally annoying word.

a word overused by 10 year olds who spend too much time on pinterest
they think it means anything that's cute or just a compliment

To be artsy but often mistaken as "scene", "fashion core" or "indie". Creative, chill, mystique, and enjoys art in general. (photography, painting/sketching, films, fashion, etc.) Being able to see and appreciate beauty through obscure situations and non-trendy apparel. Does not care so much for the things in magazines. Basically, truly being an individual without having to try and just living life, taking it one day at a time.
