A word way overused in many situations. When you get played it means someone knowingly used your emotions in order to get something out of you, whether it be gifts, sex, pics, or validation. If you caught feelings for ur friend and then got friend zoned that ain’t getting played.
Some sad pos: damn my friend Zach was so nice to me and I even bought him dinner and then he turned me down... I got played
