Irish equivalent of 'your mother', 'yo momma', 'ya mam', etc. Generally used as wonderfully nonsensical response to a question (especially a stupid one).
Adrian: Bob, where do you want to have lunch?
Bob: Yer ma!
Adrian: Well, you sure showed me up for the idiot I am. Oh man!

yer ma means your mother or mom or whatever you want it to be. I live in Scotland and these neds use this phrase to insult your female parent. They also use this phrase when talking to one another.

Chavs and neds say this to everyone.
Sort of like calling people 'pure gothic bams', 'big junkies', or 'y'bam'
These neds are the bane of Scottish society, They have nothing better to do...... I digress.
Basicly, Neds sy this and it's meant to be insulting.
