To define something as "cooler" than the norm. Originally used for outrageous sports and death-defying stunts, "Xtreme" has managed to find its way into nearly every marketing campaign in America: deodorant, beef tacos, soft drinks, and even duct tape (I swear).

A moment that is generally agreed to have had a significant influence on pop culture and everyday life. While the term was coined by Rose McGowan in context of the #MeToo movement, and is mostly associated with the K-pop community, the phenomenon is universal and a basic component of how culture works.

Real world events such as social/political movements, the election of a new U.S. President, major catastrophes and disasters, as well as entertainment such as movies, music and TV, can all function as cultural resets. Notable cultural resets in relatively recent memory include:

* The Beatles appearing on the Ed Sullivan show in 1964
* The Watergate scandal of 1974
* The release of Nevermind by Nirvana in 1991
* The September 11, 2001 attacks
* The election and inauguration of Barack Obama in 2009
* The COVID-19 pandemic

This can describe anything in any positive way, really. It just sounds really dumb, and if you use it in any context, everyone who hears you will assume that you're an emotionally handicapped chimpanzee.

One better than "Extreme". Only those willing to take things to their furthest would dare do something so extreme that the "E" at the start of the word is too shit scared to stay and watch, running home to it's mum.

A marketing ploy targeting the 13-17 demographic, in which ordinary commodities are presented to our unwitting youth as "crazy" and/or "totally awesome!" when in fact they are just pumped full of blue and red dyes and packaged in shiny bags.

The ORIGINAL X Factor. People on Xtreme are the sickest of sicknasty. They also respond to the name Sigma Fackers NAF's. Xtreme is xtreme to the 5th degree. They often use expressions like noice and croicky in Austrailian accents. It is tradition to vandalize yeards late at night with toilet paper(but of course xtremers remove the cardboard roll). Xtreme cannot be defined in english or any language for that matter because to define xtreme you must use at least 60% of your brain,which is not possible, therefore understanding Xtreme is not possible for humans since a human only 20% of their brain. They often say their names backwards and wear black and lime green attire. When xtrememers are out to play make sure you lock up your kids.
