A functional, easy-to-use operating system that can be perfectly stable if you want it to be. The OS is only as good as its operator, guys.
I have been running Windows 2000 Professional for two-and-a-half years, and have yet to see it crash spontaneously. The only time it has ever crashed was when I caused software conflicts myself.

An extremley easy to use desktop operating system. Very optimized and compatible with a wide range of software applications and hardware devices. However, LINUX is better for servers because Windows tends to need to rebooted every few days to retain performance. After about a week of uptime, Windows becomes slow and incredibly hard to use efficiently.
Windows = ultimate workstation os
LINUX = any situation where reliability and stability are a concern (like db, web, ftp, proxy, dns, and news servers.

I actually like Windows better than Macintosh. Maybe it's because the last time I got a Mac, it sucked like a bucket of shit. Of course, it's entirely possible that that was because I was using OS 9.2.

I still use Windows 98 beta. So far, I haven't seen this blue screen since last year, when I pulled the CD out during installation. Maybe I would have to be a code-writer or delete system files in order to see it.

Windows is to Mac OS, sorta like how the Walgreens brand of medicine is to the regular brand. Anybody want some Walbourne!?
