A handshake that involves grabbing an outstretched hand firmly and pumping it up and down confidently to avoid an embarrassing flub of a cool handshake. This is usually given when a minority holds out their hand and you, not wanting to mess it up and appear lame, crush their fingers before they show everyone how "white" you are when you mess it up.
Boy 1: I was playing ball at the Y and everyone was introducing themselves. This guy walked up to me, held out his hand and said "Yo, what up? I'm LaTrell." I didn't want to look like an idiot so I grabbed his hand and gave him the White Man's Handshake before he could try anything funny.
