A corruption of the word vuvuzela, the braying, plastic trumpet which soundtracked the 2010 World Cup of Soccer in South Africa. When said trumpet is combined with one or other form of occult practice in order to secure a favourable result for a particular team. A "Southafricanism".

A phrase to describe someone who is cognitively degenerating. Synonym of "going off the deep end". Can have varying degrees of severity.
