You know the guy, middle aged, not a looker by far. One day he decides to wear a vest, and someone pays him a half way compliment, like “hey nice vest”. From there a trend starts, he rocks a vest everyday, no matter the occasion. At work, at the gym, PTA meeting, shopping at the mall, high-speed pursuit and oh yeah it goes with anything, pants, shorts, velor jump suit, slacks, biker shorts. We have all seen him, day in and day out, “vest guy”.

Someone who used to be a potential girlfriend/boyfriend, but no longer is.
