Taking a widely accepted term or phrase and attempting to gain cred via the attempt at giving it a "hip" or "cool" meaning.
Oh man, the other day Julia thought she came up with the wittiest term that needed to go on urban dictionary. She posted and then told all her friends to go and vote it up for her. It was so bad, even her friends mostly voted it down, total urb fail!
