Totally unrelated to any "opposite" condition of the well-known "born later in the mother's life" disorder, this affliction merely refers to an abnormal obsession with "all things United Parcel Service" --- the person may collect lots of caps and t-shirts with the UPS logo, arbitrarily ship out anything and everything --- even ordinary personal letters, which of course would cost a lot more to ship that way than just a regular US-Mail "Forever" stamp --- by "ol' Brown-'n'-Yellow", always ask to have mail-ordered items shipped to him by UPS even if the US Mail or FedEx would be cheaper, etc.
Caring nephew: My elderly Uncle Ted has developed UPS syndrome in a major way. so I always order his E-Bay items for him myself, so that he won't needlessly overspend on shipping if there is a cheaper way to send the items.
