Teenage boys may play Trout tickler as they walk home from an evenings party where girls were present. An instigator shouts 'let's play Trout Tickler, winner buys us fish n chips'. The boys then huddle in an excited group and sniff each other fingers to ascertain who has fingered a girl of loose morales at the aforementioned party. The boy with the trout smelling digits, or the worst fishy whiff has to treat the others to the supper.
Peter's finger had no smell, Al's had a slight taint of scampi fries, but Gary's stank the worst. We yelled Trout tickler with glee at the prospect of his purchase. We knew we'd get fed that night after he disappeared behind the coal shed with that munter from the Girl Guides.
