A modern way of saying to give credit to/appreciate what someone does, even if it’s easier not to. Originated from Netflix’s series “The Witcher” in which the titular character spends most of his days killing monsters for the people he meets. He is commonly viewed as an emotionless monster himself, but a bard writes a song about him in which he sings, “toss a coin to your Witcher, o valley of plenty...toss a coin to your Witcher, a friend of humanity”.
Geralt of Rivia (the Witcher) is often seen and treated as an outcast, but he’s mostly just trying to help people, so toss him a coin.
“Jeez man, my mom’s been such a bitch lately.”
“How do you mean?”
“She’s so controlling, dude. She won’t even let me to to Todd’s party this weekend.”
“Dude, you know that’s because she’s trying to keep you out of trouble. Yeah she can be strict, but toss a coin to your Witcher, man. She’s tryin’ her best.

The phenomenon of having to come out as bisexual to the same person/people repeatedly because they assumed or hoped that your sexuality was a "phase." Refers less to the holiday and more to the 1993 Bill Murray comedy film in which the main character experiences the same day over and over.
"My visit home turned into Bisexual Groundhog Day. My mom acted shocked when I told her I'm going to Pride next week, so I had to come out to her as bisexual AGAIN."
