Collective term for a group of students who are constantly given small roles in high school drama classes/plays, so attempt to make their relatively minor parts overshadow the acting of the main characters.
Girl #1: Hey, guess what, the teacher just told me i'm playing a door in our next performance.
Girl #2: Me too! Boy, did we get The Well parts. Maybe we could be enchanted doors that can shout obscenities over all the dialogue?
Girl #1: Good idea!

The well is the shelf under the bar where they keep liquor at hand for mixing drinks. So, a well brand or house brand is the brand of liquor served when a customer requests a drink by its generic name (e.g. gin and tonic, scotch and soda). It's usually the least expensive brand served, as opposed to more expensive call brands.
Order me a Jack and Coke. Their well brand tastes like bathtup gin.
