A remix of a song, almost exclusively in the electronic dance music genre, in which the remixing DJ uses an entire song or samples from a song in a remix without the explicit permission of the original artist. This is however considered an acceptable practice as nearly all EDM DJs care more about the music than they care about the money. Having someone remix your song, bootleg or not, is typically a sign of great respect and appreciation.

Originated circa 2006-2007. A remix by Switch, the UK-based DJ, songwriter, sound engineer and record producer (Famous for his track "A Bit Patchy"). Any remix produced by Switch is inevitably better than the original track thanks to his God like powers.

Add in the chorus a few more times, maybe lengten a solo by 20 seconds and you have a remix. Usually sold as "singles" that cost almost as much as an entire album. The money that people spend on thse doesn't go to the artist, it goes to the RIAA. And yoko ono.

Sparta Remix is a class of videos, based on the original "Sparta Remix" video from youtube, which showed Leonidas saying "THIS IS SPARTA!" many times, the video was edited, so that he could say sparta many times in less than 3 seconds, all along a catchy ritthim, and funny video montages with people with Leonidas head.
