When you save a game just before you die/get killed, causing you to respawn in the same area that instantly kills you after. This leads to a perpetual cycle of dying and reloading. Although seemingly impossible to escape, you can resolve the situation by moving away quickly or reloading another save. This is common in games such as Skyrim when you become a quicksave whore.
