The technology equivalent of "talking down." The only difference is that it comes by way of a text message. In other words, it is a text that someone may send, only they are speaking negatively to the person as though they are not as good as them.
MAN 1 TEXTS: " You are an idiot! Why don't you understand?"
MAN 2 TEXTS BACK "Hey! Don't you dare text down to me!"
MAN 1 TEXTS: "Right. Sorry dude."
MAN 2 TEXTS BACK "Hey! Don't you dare text down to me!"
MAN 1 TEXTS: "Right. Sorry dude."

Commonly known as TDS, is a term used when you accidentally send a text to a different person who you are having a separate conversation with that is completely irrelevant
(Bill to Amy) "I cant wait to see you again baby!"

(Jason to Bill) "What the hell are you talking about???"
(Bill to Jason) "SH*T... sorry Jason. Must be my Texting Down Syndrome again."

Jonny wanted people to notice him on Facebook. So he googled "Upside Down Text" and flipped his Facebook status upside down. Now everyone thinks he's stupid for being such an attention-whore.
