Teargaslighting: a noun, and a verb in the present tense. When militarized police gas protesters, and then claim that it was the protesters' fault. A portmanteau of "teargas" and "gaslighting."

The act of tear gassing peaceful protestors with OC gas and then trying to gaslight your way out of it by saying that it was just a gas that causes tears, not tear gas.
