It, unlike nearly every other science fiction show or movie, relies on a cerebral approach to solve a poblem rather than a gun, something that is very twoubling in today's science fiction. Star Wars posesses a James Bond sort of quality of shoot, shoot again, shoot some more, blow up something, kill billions of people only to be redeemed by saving one.

A show that has spanned almost 40 years. While now insulted and unliked, it was once one of the greateest shows. Despite the lack of popularity, there are still millions of 'trekkies' and 'trekkers.' It has 5 serieses and 10 movies, and many online forums. Someday, it may be famous again.

The show that proves that all you need to look like an alien is a small lump of clay attached to your head.

A show that normal people grew up watching. It rocks so much and the only thing that beats it is LOTR. Star Trek is a amazing show for smart and creative people. If you say dumb, your dumb and should probbaly get an imagination. Or a life. Not all people that watch the show are nerds, live with their parents, or are fat. In fact, only beyond cool people watch it. SO THERE!

By the way, The Next Generation is the best. Worf is the best, Picard is the best captain, and Enterprise is a shitty knockoff.

Star Trek is a series of TV shows were a bunch of Americans travel troughout the universe encountering garish aliens who speak perfect English. Said encounter between the space gringos and the aliens results in cosmic-sized heaps of trouble, and the gringos are only able to avoid being vaporized in the last possible second.

However, instead of learning their lesson and trying to stay out of mortal danger, a week later they're once again ass-deep in trouble.
