In Greek mythology, Spartoi (also Sparti) are a mythical giants people who sprang up from the dragon's teeth sown by Cadmus
He Cadmus was then instructed by Athena to sow the dragon's teeth in the ground, from which there sprang a race of fierce armed men, called the Spart(oi) .
