A TV show that aired on October 16, 2001 and has been going on for nearly 8 years. So far a total of eight seasons have been released. The protagonist of the show is Clark Kent (Superman's human name), played by Tom Welling, in his teen years. The show focuses on Clark's growth into becoming Superman (examples include the development of morals and the accepting his "Kryptonian destiny"). Many allusions to Superman appear in Smallville, such as Clark's ability to only be able to wear red and blue (the colors of Superman). Overall, an interesting show with a good storyline, but with a somewhat repetitive plotline. I personally find the special effects very visually-appealing, and think that they are all excellently done.

1) a tv series that takes place in smallville, kansas. great at the begining but gets extremely anoying after a while of the same:" either chloe, pete,lana, lex, lois, SOMBODY, gets in trouble so somebody(usually clark ) saves the day. exciting show, even with the same story line.

2) a show pervs watch to get a look at lana's, chloe's, or clarks butt ( doesn't everybody? )
