Apr 30 Word of the Day
A buzz word being used to refer to creators and influencers forming or encouraging unhealthy relationships with their fans. Usually used in the context of young audiences feeling they have a relationship with the influencer due to the huge amount of the influencer’s content they consume. The influencer in question, however, is unaware of the fan’s existence other than the general knowledge of having fans. Common examples include Dream and his stans. These relationships are exacerbated by the influencers confirming they have more than a creator-to-viewer relationship.
The word is circulating due to various YouTube essays about the phenomenon using the word, and therefore people who enjoy complaining about influencers repeating what they heard in the video in any comments section they can find.

I can’t believe that creator encourages parasocial relationships with his fans...

1. The greatest show on network TV. Also the inspiration for every modern, primetime, cartoon series (watch family guy and compare themes to old episodes of the Simpsons). It has evolved from just a 'funny show' to a program that takes satirical cracks at American society and certain current events. This natural evolution is completely normal, and for all the poser simpsons fans out there who think it's 'not funny anymore' have obviously missed the point.
2. An excellent teaching tool for showing foreigners what American culture is like.

Season 16, episode 6 of the Simpsons - MidnightRx looks at America's privatized healthcare system and the rising of perscription drug cost's effects on cross-border medicine sales.

A Brilliant, funny show which has sadly since become mainstream, like all of FOX's new "shows". The general concensus of regular simpsons fans agree that it became this sometime around the 2001-2002 season(season 12). Occasionally, there is a standout episode, however.

A good show with humor of epic proportions. Some of the newer series are a litlle disapointing, but these episodes are still better than anything else.
