The pain or discomfort often associated with the onset and delivery of a large grade bowel movement. Pain or discomfort may be mild and slightly irritating to severe and downright unbearable. Pain or discomfort may manifest lightly and gradually throughout the day or suddenly with intense abdominal pain accompanied by shifty, audible bowels.
