Scroat Beard. The wearing a gruff unkempt beard. Often while having your head shaved or short.
Wearing a rough untrimmed beard reminiscent of "Grizzly Adams" in which the person does not care about their appearance as a form of rebellion or nerd coolness.
A beard resembling a nut sack.
Origins for the beard? Possibly begun recently with the movie "The Hangover". Alan Garner is the character with a similar "Scroat Beard". He is played by Zach Galifianakis.
