A sazini is a Merrick classic that originated from the amazing restaurant called Souper Fry. Souper Fry once closed for good for over a year but then reopened on February 21st, 2019 and was absolutely mobbed. The sazini consists of breaded chicken pieces, bacon pieces, rosco sauce (a Souper Fry classic), and lots and lots of cheese and can be paired best with a bag of Souper Fry’s signature fries and a good ol’ .99¢ Arizona Iced Tea. People in Merrick fiend for sazinis almost as much as Calhoun white boys fiend for juul pods. Sazini’s are a staple of Merrick and Merrick is only a better place with sazinis in them.
