Dodge RAM SRT 10:
The Dodge Ram SRT-10 was introduced February 13, 2003 but not put into production until 2004. Unlike the previous Ram Trucks, the SRT-10 was built solely for the purpose of speed. In fact, in February, 2004 it set both the Guinness World Record and Sports Car Club of America's record for fastest truck. The previous record holder, the Ford Lightning, attained a speed of 147.54 mph, while The SRT-10 reached a high speed of 154.59 mph.
The main attraction of the SRT-10 is its engine, which is an 8.3 Liter V10 Viper Engine. This engine produces 500 horsepower at 5,600 rpm and 525 lb-ft of torque at 4,200 rpm. With this engine the truck can reach a top speed of 154 mph, and can accelerate the regular cab SRT-10 from 0 to 60 in 4.9 seconds and the Quad Cab version in 5.4 seconds. The stock 22 inch rims and Pirelli Scorpion P305/40R22 performance tires gives the SRT-10 the grip that helps it achieve record breaking speed. The SRT-10 comes with either a TREMEC 6 speed manual transmission (regular cab) or a 4 speed automatic transmission (Quad Cab).

Dodge Viper SRT 10:
The Dodge Viper underwent a major redesign in 2003, courtesy of DaimlerChrysler's Street and Racing Technology (SRT) group. The new Viper SRT-10 was heavily restyled with sharp, angled bodywork. The engine was enlarged to 8.3 L which, with other upgrades, combined to increased output to 504 hp (375 kW) and 525 ft·lbf (711 N·m) of torque. The initial model was a convertible.

The new Viper SRT-10 Coupe (no longer called the GTS) was introduced in 2005 at the Detroit Auto Show as a 2006 model. It shares many of its body panels with the convertible but takes its side and rear styling cues from the Competition Coupe (see below). The new coupe looks much like the previous Viper GTS and retains the "double-bubble" roof shape of the original, along with the original GTS's taillights, for an added homage to the original Viper coupe. In addition to these style upgrades, the Viper receives 510 hp (380 kW) and 525 ft·lbf (711 N·m) of torque.

Manufactured by Dodge from 2003-2005, based on the Neon/SX 2.0 body style. There was very little promoting done for the SRT-4 so in all fairness people have some very common misconceptions about it.

Dodge pulled the SRT-4 engine out of a PT Cruiser GT, the motor also saw production in the Mexican Stratus R/T. The PT-GT had a respectable 210 bhp as did the Stratus. Dodge tweaked the PCM and fuel system to bump the cars output to 215 bhp, but, Sport Compact car put a bone stock SRT-4 on a Dyno in 2003 and found 223 wheel horsepower. It is a well known fact that Dodge had underrated the vehicles power production to reduce insurance costs.

In 2004-2005 vehicles a Quaiffe LSD was added as well as larger fuel injectors. Which boosted the SRT-4's output to 230 bhp, another magazine test by Car and Driver showed that the 2004 SRT-4 had dynoed in at 233 wheel horsepower. Which makes the SRT-4 the fastest FWD production car in the world and the fastest Production car for under 20,000 dollars.

So please stop spamming garbage about this car, I challenge ANYONE who hates the SRT-4 to find a FASTER PRODUCTION CAR FOR UNDER 20,000 dollars. Instead of hating on a car, why not learn something about it. We owe Dodge for building the machine that they did for the price we paid. Nuff said, later. TURBOCHARGED FTW!
SRT-4's are a very underrated car, give them the respect they deserve. Remember if you ran into one jerk who has an SRT-4, it doesn't mean that all SRT-4 owners are jerks.

Fastest FWD production car in North and South America.
Dodge gave their SRT devision the Neon and said, "We want to beat the Mustang GT in this," and thus the SRT-4 was born.
The car was under-rated from factory at 230bhp and 270w-tq, but most people who dyno them get somewhere around the 235-240bhp and 280b-tq mark. Car is very cheap and easy to make even faster. Buy a $400 plug-and-play handheld tuner and a $100 air-fuel gauge and you can bring the boost up from 13-14psi to 20-23psi. Add a bigger fuel pump, bigger injectors if you really want and you can turn the boost up to 24-26psi. At that amount of boost you are making somewhere around the 300+bhp mark with 350+ish w-tq. With that you will run low 13 to high 12 quarter miles.

95% of the slander it gets is because of people with modded civics and muscle cars that can't stand being beaten.

Remember its only a neon until you get beaten by it, then its an SRT-4.
Sitting at a light, minding my own business. Douchebag in a Mustang GT pulls up next to me, turns to my car and laughs. Proceeds to rev engine. On green light I step on it and destroy him, leaving the most dumbfounded look on his face. He pulls up next to me at the next light and goes, "damn, thats a fast SRT-4."

A turbo'd sports package of the car known as the "Dodge Neon", many people rant about this car using "tests" done by Car & Driver magazine, and use it as a crutch to support their shitty car.
John: "...But the Integra Type-R could easily destroy the SRT-4 at the track."
Joe: "TEH SRT-4 HAS A F4$T4R SL4L0M TIM3 TH3N TEH MURCILAGO!"

Fastest car you can buy for under $22,000. 0-60 in 5.6 seconds, does the 1/4 mile in high 13's. Simply an amazing car and loved by car reviewers world wide for it's smoking performance and low price.
1.)Yeah, Johnny Dickweed spent $35,000 on that 350Z and got smoked by Dustin in his bone stock SRT-4 at the track.

2.)Yo did you see that SRT-4 smoke those riced out Civics? He didn't even have any mods doen and ran a 13.8 at the track!!!
