A challenging SQA qualification generally sat by S5 or S6 pupils in Scotland. Difficulty varies between subjects, for example subjects like Higher English, RMPS and PE are a piece of piss, but Higher Maths is extremely difficult. I can't even pass national 5 maths let alone Higher. The general entry pass to get into university is 4 highers and national 5 maths as maths is a hard national 5. Think of it this way, the SQA don't want you to pass Higher because if Higher was too easy, then everybody would be getting into university and there would be too many spaces. In conclusion, you would be one lucky bastard if you are able to pass 4 highers by time you leave high school.
Callum: Do you fancy a game of fortnite?
Lee: Naw sorry mate, I need to study for my SQA Highers, I need them so I can enter uni and become a surgeon.
