An ancient word of Slavic/Russian derivation for a tribe of nomads/gypsies in Eastern Europe. "Roff" means to come before and is" means covering or skin. The come before skin is the foreskin. Roffi (plural) is the group or clansmen who traded in foreskin's in what is modern day Ukraine. They also were notorious for the famous "smegama ball".
