A phrase to describe someone who is cognitively degenerating. Synonym of "going off the deep end". Can have varying degrees of severity.
Reference to the song "Hey You" by Pink Floyd. The line "and the worms ate into his brain" makes no sense in an otherwise linear and literal narration throughout the lyrics.

This is a silly word that could be used to save you in many unwanted, awkward, hostile situations to lighten the mood and give a genuine sense of humor.
Imagine this, you're arguing with your boyfriend, your mid fight and someone's yelling "what the f*** is wrong with you" and the other person just says "I don't know. I'm just rakey!" What would u say? I would laugh my ass off. I tried it the other day in an argument with my mom. She was like what is wrong with you? Do you not think?? I replied with "I don't know mom maybe I'm just rakey " long story short she didn't get it at first but she ended up laughing when anything she said I replied with "Rakey. " Defiantly thought I should let the world know of this funny word that's quite versatile and can be used in almost any sentence.
