Often seen at boat shows or private clubs a Pooze is a person with an exaggerated respect for high social position or wealth who seeks to associate with social superiors and will often do anything be considered an affiliate of the wealthy.
Often a Pooze will participate in figurative dick sucking though may actually go for it if it means they will make a social gain.
A Pooze also dislikes people or activities regarded as lower-class, as it is likely a reminder of their true selves.
A Pooze will often attempt to demean people they assume to be of a lower social status
A person who believes that their tastes in a particular area are superior to those of other people
