Phmoals are small living creatures. They aren’t very big and that’s why they are said to be small creatures. Of course there are going to be bigger Phmoals than others, but that can be seen in other creatures. You’d refer to a big Phmoal as “a big Phmoal”, but don’t expect it to be extensively larger than any other Phmoal. It will still be a small living creature.

or
