Orygis, is when you have a conception that doesn't quite make sense, and no one can convince you otherwise.
The subject suffered with an Orygis idea, which governed and controlled the thoughts and life, and could not snap out of it. The insights of the doctors made the subject more certain the Orygis was correct.
