The most modern and progressive city in Florida. Orlando is not just Disney World, Sea World, Universal, and the other tourist destinations. Orlando, or greater Central Florida, is a rappidly expanding commerce center attracting large regional banking centers, high tech industry, is the second largest convention destination in the nation, and large insurance district. Central Florida is made up of Orange, Seminole, Osceola, Lake, Polk, and Volusia counties. It is the wealthiest and most thriving area in all of Florida, predicted to become the next LA, without the blight and slums. Central Florida encompasses a circular area having a 40 mile radius. It is home to the University of Central Florida, poised to become the State's largest University in the next five years. There are two law schools, and soon to be a full medical school in Orlando. Unemployment is the lowest in the nation, at less than 2%. The Downtown area has focused on creating a large residential city center, which is attracting many more young professionals to this area.

The only major city in Florida that every Floridian visits, but to which no Floridian ever willfully moves.

This arises for a couple of reasons:

1)Orlando is the only major city in Florida without a beach.

2)Floridians already see enough tourists, so Orlando is like Hell on Earth.
