A phrase, similar to "no homo", made when a sexual innuendo is implied but not meant to be in any way sexual. (Utilized between opposing genders)

When two platonic friends of opposite sexes partake in a potentially romantic or sexually stimulating situation, uttering the phrase to negate any romanticism/sexuality.

basically no homo but for the gay people

Said after someone says something that sounds unintentionally heterosexual.

To dispel any sexual or intimate connotations in a previous statement. Much like "no homo", but used in context with the opposite sex.

Can be used when a male is speaking to a female, or vise versa, and does not wish to infringe on existing relationships, or if the listener is too ugly to express intimate intentions, etc.

Said to cancel out an ambiguously heterosexual (straight) comment. Can be used by people of all sexual orientations.

No hetero is what you say to a friend of the opposite gender in place of "no homo"
