Acronym for Black English Vernacular, which is the technical term for ebonics. It is classified as a dialect, for all you uneducated fucks out there that think it's a lazy form of English. Also called AAVE (African American Vernacular English).

A Bev is someone who helps themselves to food off your plate. It can be used as a noun, adjective or verb when describing the taking food or borrowing an item. The theory of Bevitivity is that one action creates an equal action so taking something requires giving something back for sustainability. This encourages people to give you more things to Bev. The origin of the name turned term came from a Maryland woman named Beverly who went into a house because her child was there and felt it okay to help herself to a sandwich.
