They strike out at things they don't like individually or in groups by creating or sharing memes in order to giggle at and hopefully humiliate their targets, but will almost never say or do anything in real life.

A Mirthlord is the diametric opposite of an Edgelord.

A Mirthlord might be considered a variant of Edgelord if it weren't for the fact that they are hivelike, and form hierarchies ruled by whatever Mirthlords have the largest egos to be found in the local community.
