Aoun or Aouny is a bad word used to describe a stupid person, a liar, and even a very bad person. It is a commun word used in Lebanon. Originally, it comes from the name Michel Aoun who was a Lebanese politician and dictator. Michel Aoun did the civil war in Lebanon and left to France after destroying the country. Then he returned back to be elected by force by the terrorist party Hezbollah to become a president of the Republic of Lebanon. At his time, the country faced the worst economic crisis in its history. He was a dictator and a symbol of corruption, bad management, terrorism, and lie. His name Aoun becomes very famous within the Lebanese community inside and outside Lebanon. Many people used his name Aoun or Aouny to mention a stupid and dumb person. Even it can be used to mention liars, a dictator person, and someone who does not keep his promise.
